AN EVENING ON THE TERRACE

      Alone in person
      Surrounded in thoughts
      Crowded in feelings
      But still away from all.
  
     Cool breezes washing over,
      little drops of dew falling on
      thoughts swirling on to the past,
      drowning in analysis of happenings.

      Giving the time to think over,
      giving a chance to straighten things,
      giving the hope to make peace,
      giving the confidence to move on.

      Voice bubbling up in to tunes,
      tone giving in to a song,
      foot giving in to rhythm,
      eyes giving in to feast of scene.

      Looking afar to miles and miles,
      with people of love closer to heart,
      mind full of cool specks of happiness,
      heart full of brimming peace.

      As i walk along the railing,
      the visual of the long distances around
      and the feel of vast spaces above
      lift my spirits up.

      The shining stars striking,
       the cresent of moon sparkling,
       the waves of clouds floating,   
       the most of cool winds sprinkling.
 
      What more would i want
       when nature has got so much to offer,
       when my mind has got so much to learn,
       when I've got so much to grow up.

       This is what I feel
        when left alone to myself,
        to unleash and reign not my thoughts,
        but to reign in my senses
        for that is what that helps me
        when I am not myself
        and this is what that urges me
        to move on in LIFE................
